The Opportunity
The Manager of Solutions Engineering leads the day-to-day operations of the EMEA Solutions Engineering team and provides Solution Engineering to Kantata’s most Strategic Customers.  As a dynamic team leader you are responsible for leading, recruiting, mentoring and providing feedback to a high performing team of Solution Engineers.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the achievement of the EMEA regional Sales quota by partnering with Sales to establish deal strategies using a Solution Selling approach
  • Build and manage relationships with prospects
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a distributed team of 3-7 Solution Engineers in EMEA
  • Appropriately allocate resources to sales opportunities to drive sales performance and team member growth
  • Support the  solution  engineering team by participating in prospect  meetings, engaging other resources as needed
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Kantata’s capabilities and vision to craft solutions aligned to prospect needs and desired business outcomes
  • Lead pursuit efforts in large or strategic prospects as appropriate
  • Continually monitor team’s activity, track results and implement recommendations to increase the team’s efficiency, quality and consistency
  • Conduct meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement and best  practice sharing
  • Regularly develop and contribute thought leadership and reusable content to the organization’s knowledgebase repository
  • Work with prospects to design and scope systems integrations
  • Work with the VP of Solution Engineering to develop and execute initiatives and activities aligned to corporate business objectives
  • Develop and  maintain positive working relationships across sales, marketing, and product management
  • Partner with recruiting to attract, hire, and retain top talent
  • Travel to prospect’s locations to lead and participate in product demonstrations, workshops and technical discussions and scoping sessions
  • Attend trade shows, partner events and other industry meetings to represent Kantata
  • Work with internal teams to generate responses to RFIs, RFPs and technical security questionnaires
Other:
  • 5+ year’s pre-sales experience in B2B SaaS software
  • 3+ years directly building and developing a high-performance pre-sales team
  • Knowledge of the Professional Services Industry is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to articulate and effectively communicate concepts with technical and non-
  • technical audiences
  • Agile leader keen at providing feedback   
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical discipline
Travel
  • Ability to travel up to 25% is required
Compensation range: £110,000 to £130,000 + 35% variable
