About the Opportunity

Kantata is seeking a Senior Director, Professional Services to lead delivery across our North America Enterprise segment. This is a high-visibility role for an experienced services leader who thrives at the intersection of sales, delivery, and customer success — someone who can shape the right solution before the deal closes, then own the outcome all the way through go-live and beyond.

As the North America enterprise segment leader, you will be the delivery voice in the room for every deal in your territory: partnering with sales and presales to validate scope and feasibility, personally serving as delivery director on projects in the segment, and ensuring a seamless handover to Customer Success once value has been realized. You will also manage a team of consultants and provide oversight of delivery partners, ensuring every implementation — whether delivered by Kantata or a partner — meets the same high bar for quality.

You will sit on the Professional Services leadership team, shaping the direction of the broader organization, and you will bring a builder’s mindset to how AI can make your team faster, smarter, and more productive.

Primary Responsibilities

Segment Leadership

  • Serve as the North America Enterprise segment leader for Kantata Professional Services, owning delivery outcomes and team performance across the region.

  • Represent Professional Services as part of the PS leadership team, providing input on organizational direction, surfacing what’s working and what isn’t, and shaping product and methodology decisions.

Pre-Sales & Solutioning

  • Partner closely with sales and presales teams to ensure the right solution is being proposed to customers — and that the delivery organization is prepared to deliver it successfully.

Delivery Ownership

  • Serve as the delivery director on all projects within the segment, personally ensuring customer success, adoption, and business results are delivered.

  • Manage a team of consultants focused on delivery, providing coaching, quality oversight, and career development.

Customer Success Handover

  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure a smooth, well-documented handover as customers move from implementation into ongoing adoption.

Delivery Partner Enablement

  • Help enable delivery partners across the segment and provide oversight of their implementations, ensuring they meet the same quality bar as engagements delivered internally.

AI-Driven Delivery

  • Embrace AI technologies to deliver faster, smarter, and with higher productivity — modeling and encouraging practical AI adoption across the delivery team.

What You Bring to this Role

  • 10+ years of experience in professional services or implementation leadership within the software or technology industry, including experience managing consulting teams.

  • A track record of serving as delivery director or engagement lead on complex, enterprise or mid-market software implementations.

  • Experience partnering with sales and presales teams during the deal cycle to validate solution scope and delivery feasibility.

  • Deep expertise in enterprise software implementation — ideally in PSA, project-based software, or adjacent SaaS categories.

  • Experience managing or overseeing delivery partners/system integrators, with the ability to hold partner delivery to internal quality standards.

  • AI fluency at a practical level — you know how to apply AI tools to make a delivery team faster and more productive, and can bring that mindset to your team.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite buyers and internal leadership.

  • Experience working within or selling to consulting or professional services organizations, with a strong understanding of how they think about delivery, utilization, and margin.

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and communication skills — verbal and written.

Additional Information

  • This role is based in North America; some travel required for customer engagements and team collaboration.

  • Reports into Kantata Global Services leadership.
