Senior Product Designer

Overview

Kantata is building modern software for the professional services industry.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to craft end-to-end design for high-impact areas of our platform. Your work will impact every end user of Kantata.

You will define core product experiences, introduce AI-driven capabilities into real workflows, and improve how complex systems are structured, understood, and used.

Initial focus areas may include Resource Management and our emerging Agentic Platform.

The Role

• Own end-to-end design (problem framing → shipped experience)

• Partner with PM to define problems, shape solutions, and sequence work

• Work with Engineering to deliver scalable, well-executed solutions

• Improve coherence across interaction design, IA, and system behavior

Meaningful ownership and influence on product direction.

What You’ll Do

Work & Ownership

• Ship net-new AI-driven workflows and improve core product flows

• Improve structure, navigation, and overall coherence

• Drive consistency across interaction patterns and system behavior

• Contribute to our design system in partnership with engineering

Collaboration

• Partner with PM to define problems, shape solutions, and sequence work

• Work with Engineering to deliver scalable, well-executed solutions

• Align with Content Design on clarity and terminology

• Mentor other product designers

Experience & Tools

• Experience with B2B SaaS (preferred)

• Experience with complex, data-rich or platform products (preferred)

• Experience evolving established, production-scale systems

• Experience using and contributing to a design system

• Familiarity with modern frontend concepts (React, components)

• Understands AI system behavior (deterministic vs probabilistic behavior, user control)

• Actively leverages AI tools to inform and accelerate design work

• Open to working closer to implementation as design and frontend roles converge
