Meet New Mavenlink and Kimble Applications CEO Michael Speranza
In the latest episode of the Professional Services Pursuit podcast, John Ragsdale, a Distinguished Researcher and Vice President of Technology Ecosystems at TSIA, sits down with Michael Speranza, recently named CEO of Mavenlink and Kimble Applications. The two discussed Michael’s immediate priorities and his long-term vision following our recent announcement that the merger of both companies has closed.
Ragsdale began the discussion by asking Speranza to look back on his career that began as an engineer with NASA’s jet propulsion laboratory and includes defining compelling product visions and successfully scaling a number of companies from $100M towards $1B in annual revenue.
“For the last 20 years I’ve been leading and growing mid-market software firms that were almost exclusively backed by private equity firms,” said Speranza. “I’m incredibly excited (about this opportunity) because it fits so well with my experience helping B2B software companies navigate the growth trajectories that this new company is embarking on.”
Speranza also addressed the long-term product development plans for the Mavenlink and Kimble platforms.
“We are 100% committed to both products… (they provide) a major competitive advantage for us,” he added. “We have the two market leading products that address the broadest set of customer requirements. We plan to invest in both products going forward, and we feel that this is going to allow us to really accelerate the adoption of these types of solutions in the PSA space.”
Speranza also added, “The combination of the two companies creates something that has never existed in this space.”
